Essential Information for Our Costa Rica Custom Trips

The best time to visit the Arctic for a luxury experience is from May to September, when cruise routes open and wildlife sightings peak. A summer trip (July to August) to the Arctic offers midnight sun, glacier hikes, and whale watching. Early spring or late fall is ideal for viewing polar bears or chasing the Northern Lights further north.
Unmissable destinations on polar luxury tours include the remote fjords of Uummannaq and the ice-strewn coast of Northeast Greenland. Discover the volcanic terrain of Jan Mayen, marvel at the bird cliffs of the Faroe Islands, or take in Scandinavian design in Helsinki before you board your cruise to the Arctic.
For your bespoke Arctic trips, pack thermal base layers, a windproof and waterproof jacket, UV-protective sunglasses, and insulated gloves. Many cruises provide rubber boots and a warm parka, but your dedicated expert will let you know if this is not the case. Don’t forget a dry bag and extra batteries, which are essential for preserving the memories of your trips to the Arctic Circle.

Planning an Arctic luxury cruise alone can be overwhelming due to complex travel logistics and changing weather conditions, which makes expert help invaluable.

Our specialists have first-hand experience exploring the region and work with you to craft the best Arctic tours based on your interests and needs.
